This project was initiated by the Region of Niagara to address operational and servicing deficiencies in
the road section between Verdun Avenue and Third Street Louth, a distance of 1.1 km. Of particular
concern was the vehicular access and on-street parking at St. Ann’s School.
The project was carried out under Schedule A of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment
Process which involved one public meeting.
Phase 1 of the project, Hutchinson Court to Verdun Avenue, was constructed to a two-lane urban section
with bike lanes.
